A setting sun sends its sunbeams on their last
journeys
To glide through the almond tree branches.
Little bugs dance through the warm air
During the last hour of light;
They seem to never tire.
A long awaited breeze finally comes to greet my bare
arms and legs.
A setting sun hides behind the Coastal Range to make
way for the stars;
A great relief from the hot summer day in the
California valley.
