Our mission is to develop and maintain an accessible electronic journal for the publication of poetry written by Central California poets, and by those who write poems about the Central California Region.
We hope that poets who live in or write about Central California will submit poems to the Journal. We will select a few poems each month that best fit the character and subject matter of the Journal. We also hope that people will come to these pages to read the poems that appear here. If we are able to produce a quality product, we believe that the Journal will offer something of value to the poets who appear here, and to those who come here to read the poems. Our goals are:
If your poem or article is not published in the Journal, this is not a reflection on the quality of your submittal, but only means that the material submitted was outside of the scope of this journal, did not meet our posting criteria, or for some other reason did not seem suitable for publication in the Central California Poetry Journal. This is a reflection of the taste of the editor, and not the quality of your verse. See our list of links to other poetry pages and don't lose heart. Posting criteria are listed on the Table of Contents pageof the Journal.
No poems, articles or letters submitted on paper will be published by the Journal. No material will be published without the written permission of the author, and/or the copyright holder.
